The Kursed Piranha

I stumbled upon a random tiki video on YouTube…

I’m always on the lookout for any tiki videos on YouTube and I found one. It was a video of someone giving a tour of their home tiki bar. You couldn’t see the person but you can hear the person talking about all the pieces that make up their bar. That person is GiGi and she’s from the UK. As of this writing, there is no name for Darren’s ultra-scary tiki bar but Darren can tell you the story so far…

It Isn’t Tiki But Damn! #3 The Formosa Café – West Hollywood CA

I’ve been to my share of Chinese restaurants but nothing compares to The Formosa Café!

There has always been a fascination for the exotic, the three biggest exotic locations being the South Pacific (Polynesia), Egypt and The Orient. When it comes to places that provide a full environment and experience, Chinese restaurants are right up there with Tiki bars. Looking back to my childhood, I believe my first exotic, full immersive experience was going to a Chinese restaurant with my aunt in Philadelphia.
